Gaza should not be easy to forget.
It should weigh heavily on our conscience to watch a hungry child, a helpless mother, or a displaced family wondering what they will eat tomorrow — and then simply continue with our lives as if nothing had happened.
Because the need in Gaza continues.
And as long as that need continues, our responsibility is not over.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression.”
Al-Ma’idah, 5:2
Bediuzzaman Said Nursi also reminds us with these powerful words:
“Consent to oppression is oppression; whoever supports the oppressor becomes an oppressor.”
And the Qur’an warns:
“Do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire touch you…”
Hud, 11:113
Our responsibility is not only to feel sorrow.
It is to do whatever we can.
As Önce İnsan Association, we continue to stand beside our brothers and sisters in Gaza and work to deliver the trust of our donors to families in need.
According to the needs on the ground, we provide:
bread, flour, food parcels and hot meals,
clothing and blankets for families who have lost their homes and basic belongings,
and, within our means, tent support for families in need of shelter.
We are also working to meet one of Gaza’s most urgent needs:
access to clean water.
Through water tankers, we deliver clean water to communities in need, helping families meet their drinking and daily water needs as much as possible.
Because humanitarian aid in Gaza is not only about food.
Sometimes a loaf of bread means holding on to life.
Sometimes a hot meal is a blessing a family has been waiting for all day.
Sometimes a tanker full of clean water means life for hundreds of people.
Sometimes a blanket is warmth placed over a child on a cold night.
Sometimes clothing restores a little dignity to a family that has lost almost everything.
And sometimes a tent gives a displaced family the feeling of having a place to call home again.
We see every donation entrusted to us as a responsibility, and we work to transform that trust into help where it is needed most.
Sometimes people ask:
“What difference can my small donation make?”
It can make a great difference.
A donation can become bread.
It can become a sack of flour.
It can become a food parcel.
It can become a hot meal.
It can become clean drinking water for a family.
It can become clothing for a child.
It can become a blanket to keep a family warm at night.
It can contribute to a tent for a family with nowhere left to stay.
When acts of kindness come together, they are no longer small.
One person’s contribution, joined with the contributions of others, can reach a family, a street, a neighbourhood — perhaps hundreds of people.
That is why we never consider any donation too small.
We should not remember Gaza only when it is trending on social media.
A mother’s life does not return to normal when we put down our phones.
A child’s hunger does not end when another story takes over the headlines.
A displaced family’s need for shelter does not disappear when fewer images are shown on our screens.
And the need for clean water does not end when the news cycle changes.
Gaza is not just a headline.
Gaza means people.
Children.
Mothers.
Fathers.
Families worried about tomorrow.
That is why remembering Gaza is not merely an emotional response.
It is a matter of conscience.
Not all of us can travel to Gaza.
We may not be able to hold a child’s hand ourselves.
We may not be able to knock on a mother’s door and personally hand her the help she needs.
But our help can reach her.
Our bread can reach Gaza.
Our flour can reach Gaza.
Our food support can reach Gaza.
Our hot meals can reach Gaza.
Our clean water can reach Gaza through water tankers.
Our clothing, blankets and tent support can reach Gaza.
And together with all of this, one more important message reaches them:
“We have not forgotten you.”
Sometimes one of the greatest needs a person has is simply to know that they are not alone.
Our ability to help more people in Gaza depends on the support of generous donors.
We identify the urgent needs on the ground and work to turn donations into practical assistance for families.
But to reach more tables, feed more children, deliver more clean water and provide more clothing, blankets and shelter, we need your support.
A donation made today may become food for a family.
It may become bread for children.
It may become a tanker of clean water reaching people struggling with thirst.
It may become a blanket for a mother.
It may become clean clothing for a child.
It may contribute to a tent for a family that has lost its home.
That is why there is no such thing as a donation that is too small.
What matters is standing with those in need according to our means.
Do not forget Gaza.
Do not forget the children.
Do not forget the mothers.
Do not forget the families struggling with hunger.
Do not forget those who cannot easily access clean water.
Do not forget those who have lost their homes, those facing the cold, and those struggling to meet their most basic needs.
Let us not stop at feeling sad.
If we are able to help, let us help.
If our means are limited, let us encourage someone else to help.
Let us keep talking about Gaza.
Let us multiply goodness.
Because sometimes one act of kindness can travel farther than we can ever see.
Today, your donation can become:
bread for a family,
a hot meal for a child,
food for a household,
clean water for a community,
clothing for someone in need,
a blanket for a cold night,
or a tent for a displaced family.
We may not be able to go to Gaza ourselves.
But we can send our kindness.
We need your support to reach more people in Gaza with humanitarian aid.
Join us today and be part of an act of kindness for Gaza.

Goodness begins with humanity.
